The South East Michigan Volleyball Officials Group provides trained officials for high school programs, including the Macomb Area Conference, and for AAU clubs throughout South East Michigan.
Character. Integrity. Composure.
Officiating takes hours of preparation, study, and training. It takes the composure to perform professionally and keep order when everyone around you has lost theirs. Officials are expected to be perfect every night, and few people see the commitment that requires.
We look for people with high character and integrity, a love for the game, and a willingness to work with others. It is demanding work, and it is also a rewarding and fun avocation.

Getting certified
Anyone working a SEMVOG event must be registered with AAU Sports.
- Buy an AAU adult non athlete membership. It covers officials, coaches, volunteers, and other adults.
- Complete the background check. It is part of the membership and included in the fee.
- Add club code U7MJYRZSW so your membership is connected to SEMVOG.
